Burrell's Improved Kleckley Sweet Watermelon Watermelons
My strain of this melon is listed by some as the New Hard Shell Kelckley Sweet. THE MOST DELICIOUS WATERMELON GROWN; VERY PRODUCTIVE AND OF ATTRACTIVE APPEARANCE. Last year I thought I had enough seed of this fine melon to meet the demand but I was sold out so I could not take care of many large orders. This year I grew a large acreage and conditions were just right so that I cut about eighty thousand fine melons many weighing more than forty pounds each for my Stock Seed grade. These were the finest Kleckley Sweets I ever grew and I am ready for a large number of new customers. These melons are long, dark green, very uniform and in demand in all markets. They will ship quite well up to 200 miles. The flesh is bright red, very sweet and melting. The seeds are white and less seed per melon than in almost any other melon.
