Red or Purple Top Strap Leaf Turnips
There is probably a larger amount of seed of this variety sown annually than any other turnip. The roots are flat with a single tap root; they are dark red above and white below the ground. The leaves are few and grow upright. Flesh white and sweet. Matures in 8 or 9 weeks from sowing. Pkt. 5C; oz. 15C; 2 oz. 25C; ¼ lb. 40C; ½ lb. 75C; lb. $1.35
