Purple Top White Globe Turnips
One of the handsomest and most profitable Turnips, unsurpassed for either home or market use. Is a large, rapid-growing sort with globe shaped roots, purple at the top and white underneath. Is of the same character and habit as the Purple Top Flat, but, owing to its great size, will produce twice as much to the acre. On account of its strong growth, it should be more severely thinned than other varieties. It is always a sure cropper and the pure white flesh is of superior quality. It is very desirable for home garden planting.
