Fordhook Giant Swiss Chard
The rich blue—green leaves grow very large and are crumpled. The stems are pearly white and the texture of the leaves is thick and fleshy and quality is the best when boiled. The stalks are very tender and may be served as a separate dish in the same manner as asparagus.
