New Mammoth Japanese Radish
A wonderful variety from Japan. Always crisp and tender. This giant radish grows to enormous dimensions. Roots frequently grow 14 to 18 inches in length and 6 to 8 inches in diameter. The skin is pure white, flesh firm and solid, mild as an apple and superior to the most delicate Spring radishes; thrives in any soil or location. It is as good to eat when in bloom as in younger days and the taste is more delicate than our American varieties, always crisp and tender, at the same time one of the greatest curiosities ever grown in the garden. Think of it; this enormous radish, on account of its mildness and excellent flavor, can be sliced and eaten like an apple. If you intend to grow any new varieties of vegetables this year in your garden, do not fail to plant this radish. Pkt. 5C; oz. 15C; 2 oz. 25C; ¼ lb. 40C; ½ lb. 75C; lb. $1.35
