Isbell's Lake Champlain Muskmelon
This is the earliest Muskmelon of good quality and it is still unbeatable as a first early sort either for home or market. The vines are hardy, vigorous and productive. The melons are nearly round, medium in size, and well netted. The flesh is thick, fine grained, and very sweet, or a rich deep golden yellow color. No matter what other sorts you grow, you should have some Lake Champlain as they will ripen at least a week before any other sort. Pkt., 10c; oz., 20c; ¼ lb., 45c; lb., $1.35, prepaid.
