Honey Rock Muskmelon
Few melons have ever become so immensely popular in such a short time as Honey Rock. Wide awake Melon growers have been quick to sense the demand for Honey Rocks and have cashed in with them. This melon is especially noted for the rich, melting sweetness of the highly colored golden flesh. In shape the Melons are nearly round, averaging six inches in diameter. They are covered with a heavy coarse netting which is a great protection in handling. The plants are heavy bearers, commonly setting seven or more fruits. The melons are remarkably uniform in size, shape and flavor, and are very attractive. Honey Rock is a medium early variety and the vines are hardy and vigorous. It is a good shipping sort and the size is just right. It has withstood the drought of the past four seasons extremely well and has been a real money maker. Pkt., 10c; oz., 20c; ¼ lb., 50c; lb., $1.50, prepaid.
