Golden Cream Muskmelon
This giant melon has proved a money maker for gardeners. To obtain best success plant 6 x 6, for owing to its size, it requires more room. The fruit is rather long, oval and very thick meated. The skin is smooth, without ribs, and of a beautiful golden cream color with plenty of lighter colored netting. The flesh is a rich salmon and contrasted with the beautiful skin makes a sensation when placed on the table. This is an Oregon production and has 15 years selection behind it. The fruit matures very early and melons weighing 8 to 12 pounds are not uncommon. They are unusually firm and will stand shipping, while the quality is the best of any large melon we have seen.
