Gold Lined Rocky Ford Muskmelon
A splendid type of the green fleshed Rocky Ford. This melon, however, has a gold lining next to the seed cavity, making it unusually attractive when cut. It is medium late in maturing, but for a main crop variety is unexcelled. The flesh is very thick, sweet and spicy, while the shape is round with a complete covering of netting and no ribs. Edible in 92 days. Size 5 ½ x 5 inches. Weight about 2 ½ pounds.
