This variety grows to a very large size, and is valuable, when dry for a variety of household purposes, such as baskets, buckets, cans, &c.

Sugar Trough Gourd
By sawing off the upper portion large dishes or buckets may be made, which are useful for many household purposes. The shell when dried is thick and hard, extremely light but very durable. Pkt., 10c; oz., 35c; postpaid.

Sugar Trough Gourd
These gourds are useful for many household purposes, such as buckets, baskets, nest-boxes, soap and salt dishes, and for storing the winter's lard. They grow to hold from four to ten gallons each, have thick, hard shells, very light but durable, having been kept in use as long as ten years. Pkt., 10c; oz., 25c.
