Improved Nest Egg Gourd
This strain of Nest Egg Gourd we believe to be as nearly pure as it is possible to get any gourd. It is certainly the only stock of it we ever saw which was not so badly mixed as to be almost worthless. As this gourd closely resembles in color, shape and size, the eggs of hens, and do not crack and are uninjured by cold or wet, they make the very best nest eggs. As the plant is a rapid-growing climber, it is very useful for covering screens, etc., being quite ornamental with the numerous white eggs hanging in all stages. Pkt., 10c.
