Ground Cherry Garden Berries
They grow well on almost any dry soil, are easier raised than the tomato, are prolific bearers and oh! What luscious fruit. For sauce or pies they are excellent. They make delicious preserves and when dried in sugar are used like raisins for cakes and puddings, and they will keep, in the shucks, quite a long time. Requires same culture as tomatoes. Pkt., 10c; ½ oz., 30c; oz., 50c; ¼ lb., $1.50.
