Eclipse Garden Beets
One of the best table beets, almost as early as the Egyptian and much superior in quality. Has small tops and is smooth, fine grained and tender. Color bright red, sometimes with lighter zones. Many market gardeners prefer this variety to Egyptian on account of its good looks.
