Minnesota Number 13 Field Corn
Extra early yellow dent corresponding to Wisconsin Number 8. The chief points of excellency, are earliness, productiveness and adaptability to the great variety of soils and climate. Minnesota 13 was originated and developed at the Minnesota State Experiment Station and is considered one of the best yellow Dent varieties for the Northern States. The ears average eight inches in length and are usually borne two on a stock. The cobs are well filled, kernels plump, 16 to 20 rows on a cob, color rich yellow. In the Northwest this variety matures in from 95 to 100 days. It has been planted the second week in June and matured a crop.
