Davis Perfect Cucumbers
Fine for forcing. This valuable cucumber, although introduced only a few years ago, is already most popular, owing to the great vigor and productiveness of the plants and the attractive long slender dark green fruits. The fruits are very uniform in growth and form, generally attaining a length of 12 to 16 inches. The dark green color is very attractive, and keeps until the fruit matures and turns white. The flesh is white, brittle and of the finest flavor. It is an excellent sort for hothouse as well as outdoor culture, grown either way the color is alike, a beautiful dark green and field grown stock, sells well in competition with that raised under glass. Davis Perfect has proven a big money-maker for the market gardener as it is enormously productive and these beautiful fruits bring the highest prices in every market. Pkt. 5C; oz. 12C; 2 oz. 20C; ¼ lb. 35C; ½ lb. 60C; lb. $1.10
