Isbell's Improved Long Green Cucumber
This fine cucumber of the “black spine” type grows from 12 to 16 inches in length and is of superior quality. Of fine dark green color, slender, tapering toward the stem end. Flesh very firm and crisp. The young fruit is used very largely for pickling and full sized cucumbers are in high favor for slicing and for making the so-called sweet pickles when the fruits are ripe and yellow.
