4x Fodder Corn
Southern grown, tall, leafy. The 4x is, we consider, the very best procurable fodder corn for Northwestern conditions. We get this grown just far enough south so that maximum quantity of fodder is produced and at the same time the stocks come near enough to maturity so that they are not all water. The best time to cut corn for fodder is when the kernels are just past the roasting ear stage. Sow or drill ten pounds to one-half bushel per acre, if planted with a planter; 2 ½ bu. If broadcasted.
