Golden Self blanching – New Strain Celery
The plants grow very tall and weigh very heavy. The stalks are wide and rather flat while the quality is extra fine being more free of strings than the old strain. They are valuable for local markets and also in dry climates where the old strain grows too small. This strain is very early and is largely planted for early crops. There is a big demand for this strain and the seed is scarce. Pkt., 15c; ¼ oz., 60c; oz., $1.50; ¼ lb., $5.00; lb., $16.00
