Early Chantenay Carrots
The best bunching carrot. This is one of the best carrots in existence, one which market gardeners should plant for their main crop. The carrots grow about 6 inches long, are about a week later than Oxheart, stump rooted, very smooth, deep red, fine grained, sweet and sugary, and are not apt to crack open while growing. An excellent table sort and a heavy cropper. Our seed is most carefully selected and produces roots uniform in size and shape and of fine color. This is the best strain on the market and we especially recommend it to our market-gardener friends. Pkt. 5C; oz. 15C; 2 oz. 28C; ¼ lb. 50C; ½ lb. 90C; lb. $1.75
