First introduced as Burrell's Victor. I supplied this seed to a number of the leading kraut manufacturers and they report better results for kraut than they have gotten from any other sort. The demand for his purpose has grown so large I have renamed it Burrell's Kraut King. When you consider the value of the crop the cost of the seed is practically nothing, I recommend it alike to market gardeners and to kraut manufacturers. This second early cabbage is as early as early spring and produces large, round, solid heads, often weighing 15 to 20 pounds, and suitable to use when weighing 5 to 6 pounds, has no superior for quality or tonnage of yield per ace.
