Burpee's Danish “Roundhead” Cabbage
An earlier shorter stemmed type of the famous Danish “Ballhead.” the original Danish Ballhead is esteemed for the extreme solidity and great weight of the heads as well as for its superior keeping qualities, but can be grown most successfully only in a comparatively cool location. Danish “Roundhead” has less outer foliage and is better able to resist blight, being, in most sections, as vigorous in growth as the best American types. The heads average larger and mature nearly two weeks earlier. The heads are unusually solid, and beautifully white when trimmed. They are splendid keepers, but quality is not equal to our best American varieties. Pkt., 10c; oz., 25c; ¼ lb., 75c; lb., $2.50
