New Ruby Red Beets
The earliest of all beets, most beautiful roots, of perfect globe shape. Rich, ruby red flesh, fine grained, exceedingly tender and sweet. A selected pedigreed variety for first early, second early, and late planting. The ideal table and market variety. Fine for forcing as well as outdoor culture. The roots are medium sized, of fine globe shape, a little longer than wide. Their surface is very smooth and it has a very small tap root. The color of skin and flesh is the richest and darkest red of any beet and the intensity of color is retained when cooked. The leaves are small and upright.
