Best of All Beets
Extra deep dark red, perfect shape, fine keeper, quick grower, best flavor, extra sweet, never woody. This variety was introduced as an improvement in turnip shaped beets for table use and we have, by careful selection, improved each succeeding crop, until we feel certain that it is by far the best red turnip beet in cultivation. The best beet for main crop. A very desirable beet for the market gardener, as it is very smooth, most uniform in shape and size, is very fine for bunching, and its small, upright tops allowing close planting make possible the biggest yield per acre of any turnip shaped beet. Its handsome, dark rich red color and its delicious taste make it also an ideal beet for the home garden. It is splendid for summer or fall use and also for storing over winter. Pkt. 8C; oz. 15C; 2 oz. 28C; ¼ lb. 50C; ½ lb. 90C; lb. $1.75.
