Bastian's Early Blood Turnip Beets
Among market gardeners, this valuable new variety is becoming a strong competitor with the Egyptian Blood, being larger and more symmetrical in form. It is earlier than the Bassano, very tender and sugary, and retains its blood red color after cooking.
