Egyptian Turnip Beet
This excellent variety has proved to be a most valuable acquisition. Its merits consist in its great earliness, being equal to the Bassano in this respect, but having the advantage over that variety in having small and upright leaves, allowing it to be grown nearly twice as close together. In color it is a rich deep crimson. Seed very scarce this season. Per pkt., 15c.; oz., 40c.; ¼ lb., $1.25, lb. $4.00.
