Boston Pickle
(Black Spine) A short, fairly smooth symmetrical cucumber and one of the most popular in use. It is extremely early, productive, and is a little similar to Jersy Pickle. Many firms use Bostn Pickle and Green Prolific interchangeably. Size 6 x 2 ½ inches. Edible in 58 days. Weight, 1 ½ pounds.
Chicago Pickle
(Black Spine) The most popular of the small, early pickle varieties. It has square ends; when fully mature, the skin is russet in color with a trace of netting. It is enormously productive and very disease-resistant. The ideal type for very early uniform pickles. It is the standard pickle variety for general use, with a moderate number of spines. Size 7 x 2 ½ inches. Edible in 58 days. Weight, 1 ¾ pounds.
Colorado
60 days. Average length at maturity 10 to 12 inches, diameter 2 ¾ inches, weight 2 ½ pounds. Fruits are very attractive, with intense dark green color, which is held well into maturity; excellent for slicing. It is a long type, slender, with round ends, thick flesh and small seed cavity. The vines are very vigorous and a heavy yielder. Recommended for the home garden and shipping. We have the Originator's stock of this new variety.
Davis' Diamond
A new strain of the White Spine. (It stays green). It is of a very dark green color from stem to blossom end, which color it retains for a long period and is affected less by the hot sun than any other sort with which we are familiar; making it a very desirable shipping Cucumber. The form is so symmetrical throughout the crop as to create comment wherever seen. Fruits are 6 to 8 inches long, cylindrical in shape, very uniform and bears a tremendous crop.
Deltus or Barteldes
65 days. Average length at maturity 10 to 12 inches, diameter 3 ¼ inches, weight 3 pounds. Fruits are of uniform shape throughout, with round ends; deep green color lasting well into the full grown stage. Recommended for both shipping and greenhouse.
Early Fortune
An excellent shipping variety producing very attractive fruits of rich dark green color. The fruits average uniformly about nine inches long, cylindrical or slightly tapered at ends. The seed cavity is small and the flesh thick, crisp and tender. Plants vigorous growing and productive. Recommended as one of the best shipping sorts yet introduced.

Fruit straight, handsome, small at each end, bright green, lighter at eh blossom end, with crisp, tender flesh. Makes excellent pickles. Is very prolific, early, of good size, straight, well formed and full at both ends. One of its best points is that it retains its rich deep green color until maturity. The fruit is from 6 to 8 inches long and 2 to 3 inches in diameter, with flesh of excellent flavor, white, clear, crisp and very tender.

London Long Green
(Improved) Our carefully selected strain of this old-time popular garden favorite may be developed to produce true, dark green fruits from 10 to 12 inches in length, and of the finest quality. When young, the Cucumbers are in great demand for pickles; in fact, it is the standard sort for this purpose. The full sized fruits are also in high favor for sweet pickles. 72 days. Particularly valuable for shipping. Fruits handsome; extremely dark green over entire surface, retain the color remarkably long after picking; white spined; 12 – 14 inches long; 2 ½ – 2 ¾ inches thick. Straight, well filled at ends; very few seeds.
National Pickling Cucumber
A highly developed pickling strain. Fruits weigh 1 ¼ pounds, dark green, symmetrical, square ended, resemble Snows Perfection.
Stay Green
This excellent variety has quickly become a leader in certain sections of the country. A medium sized cucumber, dark green, of the white spine class. The fruits are 7 to 8 inches long, cylindrical in shape and a fine glossy green in color.

58 days. Average length at maturity 9 to 10 inches, weight 2 pounds. As its name indicates, it grows very straight, long, slender fruits, with slightly tapered ends. At the edible stage, fruits average about 8 inches long, color intense dark green, smooth. Ideal for shipping as well as for garden.
West India Gherkin
A very prolific, small fruited variety, used exclusively for pickling. Fruits are very small, 2 to 3 inches in length, and about 1 ¼ inches thick.
White Wonder
Fruit, produced in clusters, is symmetrical, short, blocky and rounded at both ends; color ivory-white from time of forming until maturity.
Woodruffs Hybrid
This cucumber grows a medium sized vine and the fruit is long and slim, carrying its size about the same its entire length. It is a fancy shade of dark green wit a fine lot of showy white spines and it keeps its color a long time, making one of the best shipping sorts in existence.
