Great Northern
The best baking bean. Every one knows the Great Northern Beans, but few know that the seed was originally obtained over fifty years ago by Oscar H. Will from Son of a Star, an Hidatsa Indian, by whose tribe it had been grown for many years. Hardy, a heavy yielder and early, it is much more tender and more quickly cooked than the Navy Bean, and one of the most largely grown field beans. 1/4lb., 12c; 1/2lb., 21c; 1lb., 32c, postpaid. Not prepaid, 10lbs., $1.80; 100lbs., $16.00
Hidatsa
A heavy yielder, hardy, drouth resistant and an excellent baking bean. The seed is similar to Great Northern in shape, but red in color. 1/4lb., 13c; 1/2lb., 23c; 1lb., 35c, postpaid.
