This origination of the Central Experiment Farm, Ottawa, Canada, is a cross between Black Beauty and Extra Early Dwarf Egg Plants. The result is a commercially valuable Egg Plant, much larger than Extra Early Dwarf and very much earlier than Black Beauty. This new sort is the earliest good sized Egg Plant.
