Fordhook Giant
The rich blue—green leaves grow very large and are crumpled. The stems are pearly white and the texture of the leaves is thick and fleshy and quality is the best when boiled. The stalks are very tender and may be served as a separate dish in the same manner as asparagus. Swiss Chard is one of the great health-giving greens and a row grown in the garden will give a continuous supply from early summer until late fall. Pkt 5c; oz 15c.
