Amber Cream
Medium early, strong, vigorous grower, ears 10 to 14 inches long, with deep kernels, very rich, sugary and tender. A grand sort. Pkt., 10c; pt., 25c; qt., 40c.
Cory Extra Early
This is certainly the most valuable corn ever set out. It is one or two weeks earlier than any other sort, the ears being large and fine, and not small and inferior like other early sorts. The quality is also the best, being very sweet, tender and delicious. Its productiveness is truly marvelous, as nearly every stalk produces three full sized perfect ears. It is a remarkable variety and eclipses all other early sorts. Pkt., 10c; pt., 30c; qt., 50c.
Evergreen
Best late sort, and one that should occupy a place in every garden. Pkt., 10c; pt., 20c; qt., 35c.
Golden Hybrid
This cross between the Sweet and Maine field varieties of corn retains the general appearance of the former and the color of the latter, and combines the sweetness of the one with the richness of the other, producing a combination of flavor which lead many who have tried it to regard it as the finest table variety. Its beauty as well as its flavor recommends it to notice, the finest effect being produced by a dish made up of alternate ears of the Golden Hybrid, Ruby and Red Evergreen. Its season is very early, and it is a corn which all will like. Pkt., 10c.
Improved Ruby Sweet Corn
The Ruby Corn was first offered two or three years ago, but the strain was so unreliable, so little of it coming true, that it was never generally introduced. After several years of careful cultivation, we are pleased to be able to offer the Improved Ruby, a strain which has been worked up to a high state of perfection, and is the finest sweet corn in cultivation, as well as a most beautiful and curious one. The stalks and husks instead of being green, are a dark claret red color, odd and beautiful. The ears are of great size, compactly set with kernels which are of the clearest pearly white color, contrasting with the dark red husks most beautifully. It is very sweet and tender, and of the very finest quality; in fact it is the finest eating corn we have ever seen. Its great beauty and delicious quality will be a surprise to all. Pkt., 15c; 3 pkts., 30c.
Mammoth
A very large late sort, of superb quality, and considered by many the finest of all sweet corns. It is in fact a superb sort. Pkt., 10c; pt., 25c; qt., 40c.
Red Evergreen
This is a sport from the common Evergreen, and a sweet corn of unexcelled beauty and good quality. The ears are large, having 12 or 14 rows of long perfect kernels, which are of a dark ruby red color and beautiful as jewels. Any person who likes odd and fancy things will be delighted with this superb corn. On account of its beautiful color it is a magnificent sort to grow and serve with the white and yellow sorts. It is sure to become a great favorite. Pkt., 15c; pt., 60c.
