Cincinnati Market

This early radish is double the size of any of the early turnip-shaped type, and equally suitable for forcing or for early planting out-of-doors. Radiance
This is one of the most promising novelties we have introduced in recent years. It is not only a distinct improvement over existing similar sorts but a new-comer in this field as it is the first real deep globe shaped Radish with a pronounced white tip. Radiance has the same fine shape of our Early Bird and grows just as uniformly and is just as early. The largest radish in the world. This is an introduction from Japan. The root grows to enormous dimensions, sometimes over three feet around and two feet long, yet the white flesh is always crisp and tender, can be eaten like other radishes or cooked like turnips.
