Here is a new pea of native origin that we offer for the first time. New Wonder Pea was developed expressly for the market grower who wants a large, dark green podded pea which will hold its flavor and sweetness after attaining full size. The deep green sturdy vines grow 24 to 28 inches high and produce a great abundance of handsome long pods up to 6 ½ inches long. The pods are slightly curved and pointed and contain from 7 to 10 large well colored peas of exceptionally fine flavor. Matures in 75 days or just after the Hundred-fold-Laxtonian Class. New Wonder Pea is remarkably resistant to fusarium wilt and the peas remain sweet and tender for a full week after they are ready to pick.
