Early White Welsh onion
The best kind for green onions; it forms no bulbs. A very hardy perennial variety of onions used only for bunching or for early green onions. From fall-sown seed, the shoots attain marketable size very quickly and sell at top prices before the green onions grown from sets are brought to the market. Much superior to the Egyptian Onion. Sow seed thinly in rows 12 to 16 inches apart. Seed may be sown in summer or early fall months for early Spring onions. Extra Large Red Wethersfield
Persistent selections of bulbs planted for seed have given us a small-necked, sure ripening strain. Though well flattened, the solid onions are thick through. The outer skin is a deep, rich, purplish red; flesh white, lightly tinged with pinkish rose. Its splendid keeping qualities make it easy to hold crops for late winter markets. Michigan Yellow Globe Brigham Strain
This improved strain of Yellow Globe was developed in the great Onion producing district of Southwestern Michigan by one of the largest commercial growers and shippers. It is the heaviest yielding and best keeping Yellow Globe Onion grown in this state. Ripens early and has the fine yellow color of Southport. Bulbs grow to large size and are very solid. Prizetaker
This variety produces very large, handsome onions of bright yellow color and mild flavor. Single bulbs grown under favorable conditions sometimes weigh three pounds each. The onions are globe-shaped and of very mild, pleasant flavor. These onions can be grown with perfect success by sowing the seed in the ordinary way in the open ground. Valencia Sweet Spanish

White Portugal or Silverskin
A mild and pleasant flavored onion of somewhat flattened shape when matured. It is very popular for family use, and one of the best for pickling, also for slicing and boiling. White Queen Onion
