Imperator
An outstanding type of recent introduction which is a splendid bunching sort and also a fine quality carrot to grow for home use. The roots taper gradually from the well rounded shoulder and have semi-blunt ends. The flesh is rich orange in color and extends to the center of the root. Average length is 7 to 8 ½ inches. Isbell's New Coreless
An early variety of superior flavor and without core, highly recommended for market and home use. It is a long, cylindrical, blunt-pointed variety, with a very small tap-root and small, fine top. Morse's Bunching
Of Striking Appearance and Unsurpassed Quality. This new type was developed especially for shippers and market growers who demand a longer and better colored bunching Carrot. When mature the roots measure 8 inches long by 1 ½ inches thick. They are cylindrical in form with very little taper and both ends are well rounded. The color is a fine deep red both inside and outside. The tops are rather short and the foliage is coarsely cut but the stems are strong enough for bunching well. This Carrot can be pulled for bunching when only half grown. It is not quite as early as some but more than offsets this by superior smoothness and coloring.
