Dark Red Canner

Detroit Dark Red
(58 days). Improved variety. There are no white streaks or rings in this one. It is a deep, rich red color , inside and out. Tender, fine grained and sweet. Globe-shaped. Has small tap roots. Early Wonder
(52 days). Very early, tender and small. Beautiful in appearance because of its flat, globe-shape, small collar and tap roots, and color. A favorite with market gardeners. Mammoth Long Red Mangel

Perfected Canner

Perfected Detroit Dark Red
(58 days). A re-selected strain of Detroit Dark Red. In our trial grounds it has made the best showing of any for color, shape and uniformity. In fact, we don't know how it can be improved. Medium in size and runs as regular and uniform as you could wish. Rich, deep dark red with absolutely no white rings or streaks. No side roots. Fine quality, sweet, tender flesh.
