Gill's Early Market
For years this has been recognized as the earliest true sweet corn and we have splendid reports from all over the United States. No other early variety has produced such large ears and of such high quality. It is 10 to 14 days earlier than Portland Market, which we have discontinued in favor of Gills' Early Market. The immense ears are well filled with large, sweet, plump, white grains set 12 to 14 rows to the cob. By planting this variety you will beat all other varieties in your neighborhood. On account of its extreme earliness and large size, market gardeners get very profitable prices. For earliest results, use plenty of fresh horse manure and Garden Grow fertilizer. Pkt., 10c; ½ lb., 20c; lb., 35c; postpaid. E. or F., lb., 30c; 10 lbs., at 25c; 25 lbs., at 22c; 100 lbs., at20c.
Gill's Improved Golden Bantam
Superior to the original Golden Bantam in quality and nearly twice the size. Nearly all ears carry 12 rows of deep rich golden yellow kernels, set close upon the cob. Do not compare this with the original strain, as it is far superior in every respect, and any gardener who places this corn on the market will command better sales and prices. It has no superior for market, table, canning or drying. We carry the exclusive seed of this improved strain. Remember, we are improving this variety every year and if you wish the up-to-date selection buy direct from us. We have received many letters of praise for this corn and its good qualities represent 18 years of earnest work on our part. Many of our customers will have nothing else. Golden Early Market
Our 1926 introduction. All who have grown our Early market can fully appreciate its counterpart in a golden colored ear. The ears are just as large, just as early and sweet. We have been working on this new corn several seasons and while it does not mature quite as uniform as Early Market, gardeners will get high prices on the first yellow corn in the market. It is two weeks ahead of Golden Bantam, and while not so sweet, still the quality is ahead of other early sorts. Market gardeners have secured big returns per acre and they are enthusiastic about it. The stalks grow vigorous and somewhat taller than Early Market. Pkt., 15c; ½ lb., 25c; lb., 45c; E. or F., 40c; 10 lbs., at 35c; 25 lbs., 30c.
Golden Giant
Large, golden yellow ears of high quality. A cross between Howling Mob and Golden Bantam. The stalks grow nearly as tall as Howling Mob with ears almost as large. Matures about 10 days after Improved Golden Bantam. We offer acclimated seed of growing. This variety can be planted for late use with fine success. Prices same as Golden West.
Golden West
Large, long ears containing eight rows of large, sweet golden grains. Very productive and matures one week after Improved Golden Bantam. Pkt., 10c; ½ lb., 20c; lb., 35c; E. or F., lb., 30c; 10 lbs., at 20c; 25 lbs., at 19c; 100 lbs., at 18c.
Howling Mob
A large, second early variety maturing about 10 days after Improved Golden Bantam. The finest quality of the white sorts. Prices same as Golden West.
Oregon Evergreen
While this is not a first early corn, this strain is considerably earlier than Stowell's Evergreen, which in general appearance it resembles. Prices same as Golden West.
