Golden Self blanching – New Strain
The plants grow very tall and weigh very heavy. The stalks are wide and rather flat while the quality is extra fine being more free of strings than the old strain. They are valuable for local markets and also in dry climates where the old strain grows too small. This strain is very early and is largely planted for early crops. Utah Winter
This remarkable late celery is the finest quality of any we ever tried. It has been largely grown around Salt Lake and wherever shipped it commanded high prices on account of its splendid quality. They resemble the dwarf type Golden Self Blanching but are more solid and very free of strings.
