Crimson Giant Globe
This is a new early turnip-shaped radish, double the size of any of the early turnip-shaped type, and equally suitable for forcing or early planting out of doors. It is a rapid growing sort, developing roots of a beautiful deep crimson color, which vary in shape from round to almost oval, weighing up to 1 ½ ounces per bulb, or about four times the weight of similar sorts; but not withstanding its immense size, does not get hollow or pithy, the flesh remaining sparkling white, solid, crisp and juicy, and of the mildest flavor. Improved Chartiers or Shepherd

New Icicle
The earliest and the finest of the long white varieties. Ready for the table in about three weeks. The roots grow as large as the Chartiers before becoming hollow or pithy. They are fit for the table when quite young. The leaves are short, very few in number, and the roots can therefore be planted very closely together. The flesh is crisp, tender and mild in flavor. New Mammoth Japanese
A wonderful variety from Japan. Always crisp and tender. This giant radish grows to enormous dimensions. Roots frequently grow 14 to 18 inches in length and 6 to 8 inches in diameter. The skin is pure white, flesh firm and solid, mild as an apple and superior to the most delicate Spring radishes; thrives in any soil or location. It is as good to eat when in bloom as in younger days and the taste is more delicate than our American varieties, always crisp and tender, at the same time one of the greatest curiosities ever grown in the garden. Think of it; this enormous radish, on account of its mildness and excellent flavor, can be sliced and eaten like an apple.
